ACL Italy Open 2026

For the third time, the ACL Italy Open is part of the ACL Europe Series, the professional Cornhole Tour of Europe. You won't want to miss this unique event.

This event will be played for OPEN level points (former Tier 2).

Tournament Format

• Singles will be played in a rounders format + double elimination (number of rounds in rounders depending on number of players). NOTE: There will be a maximum of 128 players for SINGLES at this event!

• Doubles will be played in a rounders format + double elimination (number of rounds in rounders depending on number of teams)

• Pro Event will be played in a Double Elimination Bracket

• Blind Draw / Swap will be played in a rounders format + double elimination (or single elimination depending on timing)

Cartura is a small town in the North-East of Italy, surrounded by wonderful cities and places to visit!

The tournament will take place at Sporting Center Cartura, a multi-sports area with 2 gyms that fit 27 cornhole courts (same location of ACL Italy Open 2024 & 2025).

Hotel Information

The city of Cartura is very close to the renowned spa area of Terme Euganee which includes Abano Terme, Montegrotto Terme, Battaglia Terme and Galzignano Terme so there are various hotel facilities with different price ranges.

We suggest staying in Battaglia Terme or Galzignano Terme which are very convenient for reaching the gym and in the morning there is not much traffic.

Another best option in terms of hotel availability is Montegrotto Terme, followed by Abano Terme, Arquà Petrarca and Monselice.

In the city of Conselve (5 minutes drive from Cartura) there is a cheap hotel (Point Hotel) but it is always full because very close to an industrial area.

There are also many Bed&Breakfast accommodations are available in the surroundings of Cartura. 

How to get to the event

By CAR

Easy way to reach the location is to use the highway A13 and exit at “TERME EUGANEE”.
You have just to cross the city of Due Carrare and Cartura is just 5 minutes drive from there. There are more than 200 parking places in front of the venue.

By PLANE

The best connection by plane is to Venice Airport VCE (alternatively to Treviso Airport TSF but just for few airline companies). From Venice airport is available a bus connection to the city of Padova and then bus connections or Taxis are available to Cartura.

Food and Drinks

Food and drinks will be available directly at the venue super bar/restaurant!

FOOD: As last year you will find our special renowned pizza, “puccie” sandwiches made with pizza dough and homemade pasta with different typical Italian flavors.
In the morning available also croissant and brioches made by a famous local pastry shop for a good Italian style quick breakfast. 

DRINKS: Spritz!, draft beer, Radler, tea, cappuccino, espresso, non-alcoholic drinks available throughout the entire tournament
