It’s official: Kris Bauroth is having a breakout season. In a thrilling Singles final, Kris double-dipped one of Europe’s top players, Roman Elsner, to secure another major victory and further cement his status as a top contender. A strong performance also from Silke Bitz, who claimed the bronze with consistent play throughout the weekend.
Doubles Shock: Croatia on Top
In what many are calling the surprise of the tournament, the Croatian duo Edi Baračić and Alen Jakus stunned the field in the Doubles competition. Their chemistry and precision earned them the win in a stacked bracket, finishing with an impressive victory over the experienced team of Roman Elsner & Goran Milićević in the final. A proud moment for Croatian cornhole!
Junior Brilliance: Lenny Hiemann Does It Again
Rising star Lenny Hiemann is proving he’s the one to beat in the Junior division. Just a week after winning the ACL Bavaria Open, Lenny claimed his second consecutive junior title with calmness beyond his years. Keep your eyes on this young talent.
Blind Draw Brings Nations Together
The Blind Draw was a beautiful showcase of European diversity, with six different nationalities represented on the podium. The ultimate win went to Kris Bauroth (yes, again!) and Andrej Pamić, who teamed up to edge out a fiercely competitive field. The spirit of international camaraderie was alive and well.
