🏆 Introducing the ACL Europe Club Champions Cup 2026

Which club will be crowned the best cornhole club in Europe?

We're thrilled to announce a brand-new event at the ACL Europe Open 2026: the ACL Europe Club Champions Cup! For the first time ever, clubs from across Europe will go head-to-head in a thrilling team competition to determine who can truly call themselves the best cornhole club on the continent.

How does it work?

The Club Champions Cup features a unique three-stage format that tests every aspect of your club's talent — from doubles play to singles showdowns.

Teams & Requirements
•⁠  ⁠Each team consists of 4 players from the same club
•⁠  ⁠Your club must be an officially registered club (proof may be requested)
•⁠  ⁠All players must have an ACL account
•⁠  ⁠Players don't need to share the same nationality — just the same club
•⁠  ⁠Clubs can register multiple teams (Club Name 1, Club Name 2, etc.)
•⁠  ⁠Each team assigns a captain who sets the line-ups for Stages 2 and 3

Stage 1: Doubles — Seeding Round

Your team splits into 2 doubles pairs and plays 4 rounds of Rounders. The combined scores of both pairs determine your club's overall ranking. Based on this ranking, teams are divided into 6 categories and drawn into groups — one team from each category per group. Think World Cup group stage draw!

Stage 2: Group Stage

Each group of 6 teams plays a full round robin in a Teams format. Every match-up consists of 2 Singles matches and 1 Doubles match. Captains can switch up the line-up for each match-up. Group standings determine your placement in the elimination bracket. Tiebreakers follow: wins → matches won → point differential → total points.

Stage 3: Single Elimination Bracket — The Final Showdown

The top teams advance to a single elimination bracket, still in Teams format (2x Singles + 1x Doubles per match-up). Win 2 out of 3 matches to advance. Bracket placement is predetermined based on your group — just like the FIFA World Cup knockout stage.

Registration is open now! Head to the ACL Europe Open registration page:

•⁠  ⁠Purchase 1 ticket per team (select the Club Champions Cup ticket)
•⁠  ⁠In the last field before adding to cart, enter your club name + all 4 player names
•⁠  ⁠Example: Rotterdam Cornhole Club 1, John Smith, Jane Doe, Mike Johnson, Sarah Williams
